Job summary:
The Clinical Psychologist will entirely be responsible for the administration of clinical mental health services and capacity building of general health workers in mental health care. He / she will also be carrying out assessments for mental health problems, running therapy groups, and community education on mental health. The incumbent will be actively coordinating ARC MHPSS Services within Palabek Refugee Settlement and reporting on mental health services and whilst providing technical backstopping to Pyscho social counsellors and partners.
Minimum qualifications:
· A minimum of a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in diagnosis and treating mental, emotional and behavioral conditions, with training in community psychology and knowledge in Trauma counseling in a humanitarian setting.
· Demonstrated knowledge of individual and group therapy treatment protocols. Previous experience in trauma-based therapy specifically Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Expressive arts and sand tray therapy.
