The post holder provides overall programmatic and operational lead and management including; planning, implementation, capacity enhancement, monitoring/ evaluation and reporting both internally (within SCI) and externally with stakeholders. The person is accountable for overall coordination and oversight delivery of the ECHO 4 award to be implemented in a consortium
· Bachelor's degree, and preferably post-graduate university degree, in subject related to education or project planning and management.
· At least 5 years demonstrated experience in Project planning and management, particularly in a humanitarian context.
· Experience in leading and managing staff and teams.
· Technical expertise in either education or child protection in emergencies.
· Demonstrated experience in managing education or child protection consortium projects
· Demonstrated experience in documentation and Donor reporting
· Demonstrated monitoring and evaluation skills
· Ability to work both in an advisory and a hands on implementation capacity
· Excellent communication skills
