The United Nations is looking for senior women to join the Senior Women Talent Pipeline. The Pipeline is an initiative that is part of the Secretary-General's effort to improve the representation and retention of women at the director-level position in field operations. The Pipeline is now in its third phase and is focusing on attracting senior women for Senior Resources Management positions such as:
· Chief Supply Chain Management
· Chief Service Delivery
· Director and Deputy Director of Mission Support
These positions are located in United Nations field peacekeeping operations and special political missions. Applicants will be expected to serve in hardship duty stations with difficult working and living conditions. Eligible candidates must possess an advanced level university degree (masters or equivalent), a minimum of 15 years of relevant and progressive working experience in one of the above areas, and be fluent in English. Additional fluency in French or Arabic is strongly desirable.
