JOB OVERVIEW/SUMMARY

The HR/Admin Volunteer position is a temporary position and the Volunteer will be a member of the team who will contribute towards the achievement of the head office’s HR objectives. The Volunteer will work closely with the Admin/HR officer in performing the roles mentioned below.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support in creation of new staff personal files.

  • Update the existing personal files, ensuring that they all have the necessary information.

  • Organize the whole filing system according to staff T7s.

  • Assist in stamping all HR related documents.

  • General organization of HR Office documents/paperwork.

  • Any other official duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Confidentiality:

· Ensuring the non-disclosure of any information whatsoever relating to the practices and business of IRC acquired in the course of duty, to any other person or organization without authority, except in the normal execution of duty.

Note: -The role of the HR/Admin Volunteer cannot be limited to the specific duties and tasks detailed herein. The success of the IRC’s humanitarian mission is the highest priority and all issues which arise must be addressed accordingly. Therefore, S/he will be required to manage all unforeseen issues and circumstances and remain flexible to perform any other duties, as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

· Knack for detail.

· Able to communicate effectively.

· Strong computer skills especially in MS excel and word.
