Proposal Summary:
The five-year USAID Learning Contract will help USAID/Uganda strengthen its performance and, to a lesser extent, the performance of its implementing partners, in collaborating and learning to fortify the impact and sustainability of USAID-supported contributions to Uganda's development.

**The proposed position is contingent upon USAID requirements and upon MSI being awarded the contract.
Position Summary:
The training coordinator will provide both logistical and curricular support to training events for USAID staff and implementing partners in Kampala. The anticipated duration of the project is five years and this is a long-term position based in Kampala.
Responsibilities:
- Assist curriculum designers in developing training materials.
- Coordinate and schedule training workshops, communities of practice, field visits and on-the-job coaching and mentoring field visits for program beneficiaries.
- Arrange logistics for training activities, including venue booking and transportation.
- Procure all necessary materials and supplies for training programs and events.
- Ensure that training venues and equipment are prepared and ready for the trainer to use, and provide any copying and materials needed.
- Ensure that the program websites are regularly updated with training materials.
- Address inquiries from trainees via telephone and e-mail.
- Maintain an up-to-date file of contacts for all individuals involved in the program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, social science, or other relevant field required
- Two (2) years of experience in organizational training or adult education.
- Experience with USAID-funded projects preferred.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
