COUNTRY DIRECTOR Uganda (Kampala Based)
Self Help Africa is looking for a Country Director who can lead our ambitious plans to grow our work in Uganda into a much larger programme.
Self Help Africa is an international NGO which works with smallholder farmers, farmer associations, cooperatives and agribusinesses across Africa to help farmers grow and sell more food, improve diets, diversify incomes and make their livelihoods more sustainable and resilient to external shocks.
You will come from a similar senior management role with proven experience of working cross-culturally (extensive experience within Uganda and East Africa is vital) and delivering results. You will have a strong track record working with and securing funding from donors, such as USAID, DFID, EU etc. Excellent programme leadership, communication, networking, negotiation and influencing skills are essential.
