EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the following full-time staff position for an anticipated five-year USAID project named, Expanding and Strengthening Family Planning Service Options in Uganda. The following project staff will be based in Kampala providing technical assistance to the Government of Uganda (GOU), civil societies, community-based organizations and the private sector at the community, facility, district, and national levels. The goal of the project is to increase use of equitable, quality and sustainable family planning (FP) services through increased FP service delivery options and demand for modern contraception including long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs). Cross cutting themes include gender programing and youth sexual reproductive health (SRH) services. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor will be responsible for the development and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and research plans that inform program implementation, management and strategic direction of the project. S/he shall lead the knowledge management function and learning agenda. S/he must have a degree in epidemiology, statistics, or health related field, and six years of relevant work experience in ME&L in donor funded projects, and demonstrated research experience and skills, complemented by experience in collaborating with various types of partners.
